Monavie Scam? Business Opportunity Review

Monavie can be evaluated to determine if it’s a scam or not. Not all business opportunities are a scam…but you can confidently say that any network marketing opportunity is setup by design because the company and the owners are in competition with its distributors for the commission dollar. Don’t get me wrong, a company needs to be profitable to stay in business, but an opportunity needs to be fair and balanced for the company and the distributors.
Regardless of how good or bad an opportunity seems, there are TWO things you need to do well when you work from home in a home business. I’ll discuss these two later but let’s do a quick review of Monavie to determine at a company level if it’s a scam or not.
Company: Monavie is a network marketing company based out of Salt Lake City, UT. The Company produces a line of juice products around the acai berry. They market these products through a distributor network, also known as network marketing. At the time of this article, Monavie is privately owned and debt free. No verified questionable past was found for any of the company leadership or owners.
Product: The Company produces a line of juice products which contain the acai berry and blend of other fruits. It is said that Monavie contains the highest amounts of antioxidants however this cannot be confirmed by any 3rd party testing agencies. With further research on the internet, you can locate several resources that dispute the claim that Monavie juice contains the highest amount of antioxidants. The product price point is high. 1 bottle retails for $45 making it likely that end consumer sales are rare. I have tried the juice and found it to be okay, not the greatest but not the worst.
Compensation Plan: The Monavie business opportunity contains a binary compensation plan with a payout of up to 50% on PV (point volume) paid in infinity bonuses, matching bonuses, leadership pools, and more.
Scam Rating: Monavie has a good looking brand and product. The company made a smart decision to package their product similar to a wine bottle. You can find testimonies all over the internet for Monavie juice and its benefits. However, it seems that these are coming from current independent distributors. I was unable to locate a good testimony from an actual end-user consumer.
There are so many super juices out there being marketed which create a very competitive market. This is the functional problem with Monavie. You are more likely to avoid feeling scammed marketing a unique product that is different than what many other companies are offering because your opportunity for success is greater with a unique product.
Not to mention, acai berry seems to be everywhere. Even V8 has an acai berry product called V-Fusion which sells for less than $4 and is 46 ounces. Monavie juice is $45 for 25 ounces. That is fierce competition!
How can you avoid feeling scammed?
As stated earlier, there are TWO things you need to do well in a network marketing opportunity.
1) Give VALUE to those prospects and business associates around you in your business.
2) Learn how to drive TARGETED traffic to your You Inc.
